Bellway Kent’s Portland Gardens is the first development to be completed at Peters Village, near Wouldham, and just a few of the 152 new homes now remain for sale.
As a key housebuilder within the overall project though, Bellway is now building one and two-bedroom apartments and three, four and five-bedroom houses at Buckland Rise, also within Peters Village.
The community infrastructure of Peters Village is now well under way with a new primary school completed and a village hall, supermarket and shops, and a medical centre to follow soon.
Located on the east bank of the River Medway, Peters Village is also served by an all-new bridge – Peters Bridge – linking the development to the A228 and then the M20, M25 and M2 motorways as well as accessing train services from Snodland and Halling, including the high-speed service into London St Pancras. A London commuter coach service has also been operating for a year.
Mark Harrop, Sales Director at Bellway Kent, said: “The build programme at Portland Gardens – the first part of the first phase of new homes at Peters Village – has been really successful and is now complete.
“We’re proud to be delivering new homes alongside our consortium partners as part of the new community here, which is fast becoming well established, thanks to investment in local infrastructure and facilities, such as the new school, the new bridge and the popular new riverside esplanade.
“We are looking forward to helping even more people find their perfect property at Buckland Rise and would encourage people to visit the development to see its fantastic riverside setting and the great choice of homes currently available.”
