The first row of homes has been built at a new housing phase within the growing Peters Village community in Kent.
Buckland Rise is the second Bellway site in this new village in Wouldham, following the housebuilder’s Portland Gardens development, where construction is now complete.
Buckland Rise will be a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, as well as two, three, four and five-bedroom houses, with prices from £204,995 for a one-bedroom apartment.
Sales Director for Bellway Kent, Mark Harrop, said: “Peters Village is moving forward nicely, with work progressing well on this next phase of development of more than 120 new homes at Buckland Rise, where the first street scene is now visible.
“We’re seeing a new community really start to form at Peters Village. Residents who’ve already moved here love its peaceful setting by the River Medway, yet with easy access to transport links via the new Peters Bridge.
“Bellway Kent is committed to supporting the need for new housing at what is a landmark consortium site for the area, and we’re helping people move by ensuring the Help the Buy scheme will be available with all of the homes on sale at Buckland Rise, as well as providing a significant number of affordable properties.”
Help to Buy enables purchasers to buy a new-build home up to the value of £600,000 with a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage. The remaining 20 per cent is provided in the form of an equity loan from the Government, interest-free for the first five years of home ownership.
There’s currently a choice of one and two-bedroom apartments available to reserve at Buckland Rise, as well as two, three, four and five-bedroom houses.
