Further Royal Mail post boxes have been secured for Peters Village following work by two Wouldham Parish Councillors.

The report, courtesy of the Burham, Wouldham and Peters Village Magazine, reveals that the first of the two post boxes will be installed next to the bus stop on Village Road within the next two months.

The second, at the end of Keepers Cottage Lane near the junction with Worrall Drive, will be slightly later; Royal Mail said it will wait until building works there are completed.

The arrival of the boxes follows negotiations with Royal Mail by Cllrs Eddie Bell and Adam Baker of Wouldham Parish Council - the latter is a Peters Village resident.
