Portland Gardens – the first housing phase at Peters Village – is nearly finished, with just a few homes now available to buy.
The 152-home development by Bellway was designed to be not only the first phase but also the one setting the quality and design tone for all of Peters Village, and included a large stretch of the Medway riverside - regarded as the new 1,000-home community’s jewel in the crown.
Portland Gardens comprises two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, and its first occupation was in December 2016. Less than three years on and just a few homes are left on sale, but Bellway says would-be buyers can move into the remainder virtually straight away as building work is almost complete.
Mark Harrop, Sales Director at Bellway Kent, said: “Seeing a completed development and a thriving new community is a fantastic feeling – it’s the result we strive for as a housebuilder.
“Portland Gardens has a great location next to the River Medway, with high-quality homes and easy access to Maidstone, Rochester and London via the new Peters Bridge. It’s clear to see why we only have a small number of plots left for sale as we finish building at the site.”
These few remaining properties are: two-bedroom semi-detached homes from £299,995, three-bedroom end-terrace homes from £399,995 and four-bedroom homes from £474,995 and these are being handled by Bellway’s sales office at the housebuilder’s next phase, Buckland Rise at Peters Village, off Worrall Drive.
