It’s an affordable home ownership scheme designed as a stepping stone to outright ownership if you can’t afford to buy a home on the open market.
Under a Shared Ownership scheme, you part-own and part-rent your home, enabling first-time buyers and families to get on the property ladder.
With a Shared Ownership property, you become an owner-occupier. This gives you the long-term security and stability of home ownership at a price that’s still affordable.

Firstly, you need to register with www.helptobuyese.org.uk, and then you should contact the relevant housing developer at Peters Village.

How do I apply for a home under the Affordable Rent scheme?
You must either have already been accepted onto Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council’s (TMBC) housing register or apply to join the register using TMBC’s Housing Assessment form.
You must be aged 16 or over to apply, have a local connection to TMBC and qualify for a housing need.
