Moat Homes is offering a £1,000 Next furniture voucher** to help make a home at Peters Village, for those who complete and move into one of its new shared ownership apartments by the end of March.
The Kent-based housing association has a total of nine apartments available at the all-new 1,000-home community in the Medway Valley. Shares in the apartments start from just £60,000 for a minimum 30% share.
Each one or two-bedroom apartment comes with a fully fitted and stylish gloss finish kitchen – including integrated appliances and stainless steel splashbacks – and fully fitted bathroom with shower facility, both with quality vinyl flooring – the rest of the floorspace is carpeted.
Central heating, a dedicated parking space and fibre-optic broadband are also included, and the whole package backed by a 12-year NHBC guarantee.
Moat’s New Homes Officer Ben Davis said: “The interest in these new apartments was highlighted by the fantastic open evening we held in January, where two people formally expressed their interest in buying.
“All that attended were very impressed with the size and spec of both kitchen and bathroom, saying they were better than most other shared ownership apartments they had seen. They also liked the Peters Village location and riverside outlook, so we are confident of high demand for the remaining apartments.”
Peters Village is an idyllic riverside location and the new Peters Bridge over the Medway from the A228 has created quick links to the M2, M20 and M25. There are also high-speed train and commuter coach services into Central London.
Despite this wider ‘connectivity’ though, Peters Village has been laid out for sustainable transport, with a network of public footpaths and cycleways and even has its own nature reserve, of which existing residents are already extremely proud.
The new primary school and playing fields will soon be joined by a village centre comprising supermarket and shops, village hall and a medical centre.
is a housing association providing affordable homes for people in the South East of England. One of Homes England’s development partners, Moat builds around 600 new homes every year and all financial surpluses are reinvested to provide additional affordable properties and services, and work with the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme – offering shared ownership. Priority for the homes will be given to people who live/work in Tonbridge and Malling.
This is where the Peters Village team post regular updates on the latest happenings and developments in our new village.
